Application Guidelines

This travel grant program supports faculty efforts to develop and pursue research funding opportunities. This includes, for example, traveling to D.C. to meet with program managers from DARPA, NSF, NIH etc.; travel to a workshop that develops or presents new research programs; or travel to visit colleagues to develop a collaborative research proposal. The primary purpose of the trip must be to pursue new research funding opportunities.

BSOE support consists of up to $1,000 for travel related expenses. Costs will be reimbursed upon completion of the trip and submission of a brief report. A limited number of travel grants are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Each faculty member is eligible for one trip per year. Groups of faculty members are also eligible.
